Growth Without a North Star

The single north-star metric is the most repeated advice in product, and it stopped working for us somewhere around the fourth product line.

This talk is the case for a small portfolio instead: three or four numbers held in tension, with explicit rules for what to do when they disagree.

Two years of results, including the quarter where the portfolio was clearly worse.
