From Dashboard to Decision

Most organisations are excellent at looking at numbers and poor at deciding from them. The dashboard is not the bottleneck; the ten metres after it are.

This talk maps that path: who is looking, what they are permitted to change without asking, and how long a decision is allowed to stay open.

It includes a defence of deleting dashboards, which is faster than fixing them and usually more popular afterwards.
